Linda O. Johnston es una reconocida autora estadounidense, famosa por sus novelas de misterio y romance. Nació en 1949 en Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, y su interés por la escritura comenzó a una edad temprana. Empezó a idear historias para sus tareas escolares y más tarde intentó escribirlas, con su primer intento real de escritura a los 8 años, cuando intentó escribir una epopeya.
Las series de ficción de Johnston incluyen Kendra Ballantyne, Alpha Force y Pet Rescue, con un tema común de perros presente en muchas de sus novelas.
