John Glatt es un autor británico-estadounidense con énfasis en libros de crímenes verdaderos y biografías. Nació en Londres y comenzó su carrera en el periodismo a una edad temprana. Después de dejar la escuela a los 16 años, Glatt desempeñó una serie de trabajos antes de unirse a un pequeño periódico semanal. Luego, comenzó a freelancear para varios periódicos ingleses y finalmente se mudó a Nueva York en 1981.
