Jim C. Hines es un reconocido autor estadounidense, principalmente conocido por su trabajo en el género de la fantasía. Hizo su debut en 2006 con la publicación de "Goblin Quest", el primer libro de la serie del mismo nombre, marcando el inicio de una carrera en la que Hines crearía varias series populares, incluyendo la serie Magic Ex Libris y la Princess serie de recontos de cuentos de hadas.
