Joseph Jefferson Farjeon fue un novelista de crimen y misterio, dramaturgo y guionista inglés, nacido en Londres en 1883. Era hijo de Benjamin Leopold Farjeon, un novelista bien conocido, y provino de una familia de escritores, incluyendo a su hermana Eleanor Farjeon, una escritora de literatura infantil, y su hermano Herbert Farjeon, un dramaturgo.
