Giles Kristian es un novelista inglés muy respetado, conocido por sus novelas de ficción histórica y aventura. Nació en Leicestershire, Inglaterra y es de ascendencia mixta inglesa y noruega. La carrera temprana de Kristian lo vio como el cantante principal de la banda de chicos Upside Down en la década de 1990, durante la cual lanzó cuatro álbumes que alcanzaron el Top 20. Posteriormente, emprendió una carrera en solitario como cantante/compositor, realizando una gira por Europa durante dos años y lanzando el álbum "I Just Wanna Know" en 2001. Después de su tiempo en la industria de la música, Kristian trabajó como redactor publicitario en Nueva York, escribiendo copias para Empire Design.
La carrera de escritura de Kristian comenzó con la aclamada y trilogía bestseller RAVEN Viking, que incluye "Blood Eye", "Sons of Thunder" y "Odin’s Wolves".
