Gary A. Braunbeck es un autor estadounidense muy reconocido, principalmente por su trabajo en los géneros de terror, ciencia ficción, fantasía y misterio. Es el autor de la serie Cedar Hill, basada en su ciudad natal de Newark, Ohio. El trabajo de Braunbeck ha sido reconocido con numerosos premios, incluyendo el Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Short Fiction, el cual ha ganado en dos ocasiones.
