Ed Gorman

Ed Gorman fue un reconocido autor estadounidense, conocido por sus obras en los géneros de ficción criminal, misterio, western y horror. Nació el 2 de noviembre de 1941 en Cedar Rapids, Iowa, donde pasó una gran parte de su vida. Gorman fue un escritor prolífico que también contribuyó en varias revistas y publicaciones literarias como Mystery Scene, Xero, Cemetery Dance, Black Lizard y la antología Tales of Zorro.

Antes de su carrera como escritor, Gorman pasó 23 años en publicidad, relaciones públicas y redacción de discursos políticos. Su primer libro, "Rough Cut", fue publicado en 1984, marcando el comienzo de su carrera como escritor de tiempo completo. Su esposa, Carol Maxwell, una escritora premiada de libros para jóvenes adultos y niños, lo apoyó durante esta transición con su profesión de tiempo completo como maestra. Gorman se casó dos veces, primero con Catherine Stevens durante siete años, y luego con Carol Maxwell durante 34 años hasta su muerte en 2016.
