Dav Pilkey es un reconocido autor y ilustrador estadounidense de libros para niños. Nació el 4 de marzo de 1966 y actualmente reside cerca de Seattle, Washington, con su esposa, Sayuri. Pilkey es mejor conocido por su serie Captain Underpants, que se ha convertido en un clásico de la literatura infantil.
