Danni Roan, nacida y criada en el oeste rural de Pensilvania, siempre ha tenido un gran aprecio por la vida en el campo. Este amor por el campo se refleja en su escritura, ya que se especializa en ficción histórica que transporta a los lectores a una época y un lugar diferentes. Los primeros trabajos publicados de Roan fueron una colección de ensayos folclóricos sobre su infancia en las verdes y exuberantes montañas de Pensilvania, los cuales publicó bajo su nombre real, Paula Liddle-Beem.

Ha escrito dos series de romance western, The Cattleman’s Daughters y Tales from Biders Clump, así como varias novelas independientes en el grupo Strong Hearts: Open Spirits. Roan también ha participado en varios proyectos de múltiples autores, incluyendo Whispers in Wyoming, una serie de romance contemporáneo y cristiano del oeste y la muy anticipada serie Alphabet Mail-Order Brides.
Además de su escritura, Roan también es una viajera ávida.
